Message from Forestry Corporation of NSW

With westerly wind over August and September, combined with little/no rainfall for some period, our forests in the Hunter/Central Coast region are at an elevated risk.

We currently have been fighting bush fires that were a direct result of campers not putting out their campfires. These fires have escaped and created several large fires, which have been very difficult to put out. Not ideal for any of us when we have plenty of visitors/customers in our forests.

Until we get decent rain, these bans will remain in place. FCNSW will notify when the ban is lifted.

This shouldn’t affect most of you, however please be vigilant none the less.
