Hunter Mountain Bike Association attended the last weekend in Armidale. This was the first time the MTBA had staged the championships in 5 years and HMBA congratulates the members of the New England Mountain Bike Club for hosting yet another successful event. Thanks also to MTBA for restarting the event.
Notable acheivers were Peter Selkrig who placed second and Hank Duchateau who placed first in their respective divisions.
Andrew Hardy, HMBA Club Secretary would usually have competed as a support rider with Hank had to sit it out due to injury but did a fine job as Hanks team mechanic and photographer.
A huge thanks go out to local NEMTB riders, Paul Billings and his mate Michael for going the distance with our favourite Adaptive rider Hank. Good work all round.
