Support Coleen in her recovery

As some of you may already know one of the brightest faces in Australian mountain biking Coleen ‘Polly Waffles’ Kehoe suffered a life changing crash recently resulting in several fractured vertebrae and paralysis from the chest down as well as other minor injuries. She was airlifted to the Royal North Shore hospital for treatment where her family Rick, Charmaine and Alyssa continue to remain by her side.

The Hunter Mountain Biking Association was celebrating the opening of the new Biraban trail at the Awaba mountain bike park, the construction of this new trail was a feat that had taken several years and would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the Kehoe’s.

Coleen is the embodiment of our sport and our community; she has dedicated the best part of the last 25 years of her life to and is a stalwart of mountain biking in Australia. You would be hard pressed to find anybody who is more passionate or more caring, she is so much to so many of us.

It is going to be a long and arduous road to recovery and now more than ever the Kehoe family needs us to return in kind everything they have given us and more, your donation will go directly to them to help cover the day-to-day costs associated with Coleen’s full-time care while this incredible family starts to piece their lives back together.
