Hunter Mountain Bike Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Awaba Mountain Bike Park on Sunday March 17th 2019 at 9.30am. The AGM will be held on the combined DH and XC club race day, with the usual XC race start time to be delayed until 10.00am.
The AGM is important for all of us to ensure that there is an active and effective committee representing the wishes of the Club Members. We sometimes have an issue with getting enough members along to hold a “proper” AGM, so we encourage you to make the effort and be involved. As part of the meeting we will be speaking about what we have achieved over the past year and looking forward to what we want to achieve over the next 12 months. If you want to have a say in the future direction of the club, whether it be racing, trail development, social rides, other events, please come along and have a voice.
We’ll also be electing our executive committee for the new year, so if you want to get more involved, or have a say in who makes the decisions for the club, this is your chance! Don’t worry, you wont be coerced into a role if you really don’t want to as most of the current committee are happy to continue in their current roles.
Apart from the executive positions, there are general committee positions that you don’t need to be elected into, just turn up at our monthly meetings.
