Dungog put on some great weather for the three hour race today. 56 riders enjoyed some of the many trails on the Dungog Common. A big thanks the Allen and Chris from Dungog who play a big part in making it all happen up there – these trails are open all the time and it is great place to escape to and enjoy some great trails. (The Snake Trail is still my favourite and it links beautifully into Al’s Downer).
We also have to thank our wonderful timekeepers, Annette and Tara. They did a wonderful job and make the race just that much better!
Also, lets not forget our volunteer First Aider. Today it was Lynn from St. Johns. Many of you would not realise that the people from St. John who come to our race, and to other events within our community, are all volunteers and are not getting paid for their services. Please make sure you thank them when you can.
Results from today’s race are attached. Another win for the multiple world champion who warmed up by riding to Dungog from Newcastle in the morning before the race!
If you have any issues with the results, please drop and email to hmbaxc@gmail.com and I’ll happily try and sort it. Steve
